Crooked Teeth Utah Valley Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery UT 84057-3745When teeth in the mouth are coming in at odd angles, then it is important to know what you need to do to fix the situation or if there is anything that you can do.

When the teeth in the mouth come in, you are unable to control how they have came into the mouth. This is just how it is. When it comes to having them fixed though, there are options out there for the person.

Straightening Methods for Odd Angled Teeth

Teeth can be corrected using braces and other methods for straightening. Sometimes these methods can help the teeth grow in straighter than they currently are.

This is something that can be helpful when the child has just lost teeth and are now getting their adult ones. The adult ones may not have much room to grow, which is causing them to be crooked inside the mouth.

When this happens, the braces that can be placed inside the mouth will not only space out the other teeth, but help guide the new ones to where they need to go.

These methods have been used for some time. Many parents choose to wait until the child has gotten all of the adult teeth in their mouth to get the braces.

Once they do, they can then put the braces on their teeth and straighten them right up. This may take a bit of time, but it can help the child have a straighter, healthier smile. Not only that, but straighter teeth mean easier to clean teeth.

Speak with our office today if you have crooked teeth that you want to have assessed. Getting them taken care of sooner, rather than later is always a good thing to do. You want to make sure they stay clean and through the use of the many straightening methods out there, you can be sure that it is done.
