Meet Dr. Christopher Burton
Dr. Christopher Burton is an experienced oral and maxillofacial surgeon offering specialized care in implant dentistry, tooth extraction, and jaw surgery to Utah Valley communities.
You’ll find Dr. Burton practicing out of our oral and maxillofacial surgery offices in Saratoga Springs and Orem, UT, alongside Dr. Jared Rasmussen, a fellow board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon.

Dr. Burton served as Chief Resident during his four-year residency. He received extensive training in dental implants, wisdom teeth removal, the treatment of facial trauma, and more. Dr. Burton received multiple awards for academics, research, and leadership.

Dr. Burton has earned board certification with the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, the nation’s official credentialing board for the specialty. To achieve this distinction, he completed oral and written examinations and demonstrated a commitment to the highest standards in surgical practice, patient care, and continuing education.
In addition to his professional affiliations with dental and surgical organizations, Dr. Burton also maintains strong relationships with Timpanogos Hospital and the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center, where he holds operating privileges.

Dr. Burton and his wife, Cindy, shared a dream to return to the Utah Valley, a place they call home. They were able to fulfill that dream in 2003, when Dr. Burton started practicing with Utah Valley Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. The two have four active sons who love the outdoors just as much as their parents do. The family enjoys cycling, scuba diving, Jeeping, and exploring all corners of the Beehive State.
